Heading to Fuerteventura soon & wondering where you can grab a bite to eat or drink? We’ve been going to Fuerteventura since 2019 & more recently we’ve been venturing out of our all-inclusive bubble to find the best cool & quirky food spots.

If you’re anything like us & like laid-back, cozy places to enjoy a drink or food that aren’t TOO FANCYthen this will be the list for you!

Chilled-Out Food Spots In Fuerteventura

1. Almirante Brunch, Lajares

First on our list is Almirante Brunch – one of the coolest spots in Fuerteventura for a tasty brunch – & definitely one of our favourites!

It’s located in the town of Lajares (around 20 mins drive from Corralejo), & open from 10am-4pm each day. It’s within walking distance from the centre of town or you can park right out the front. There’s indoor & outdoor seating.

We’ve been here twice now & both times the food has been 10/10. On the menu there’s plenty to choose from such as salads, toasted sandwiches, waffles, burgers & desserts. There are some great vegan choices as well!

We’ve personally tried the Crispy Chicken Julio Cesar Salad, the Father Pio sandwich & ‘The Classic’ – & we would recommend them all.

If you’re a coffee lover like us, order the XL Cafe Con Leche – BEAUTIFUL! ☕

2. Hamburguesería Single Fin, Corralejo

If you enjoy a tasty burger, you have to visit Single Fin in Corralejo!

Honestly, we had the BEST BURGERS here. They are SO good I cannot tell you.

They’re open from 6pm-11.30pm weekdays (closed on Wednesdays) & 1pm-11:30pm at the weekends.

We went here in the evening time, & we were lucky to get a seat right before it got busy. There aren’t many tables here as it is a small place with mostly outdoor tables – so do bear in mind you may need to wait until someone finishes! It’s a really popular spot.

We’ve tried the El Clasico Burger, El Capitan & El Mexicano so far! There are starters, vegan options & desserts on the menu too.

3. Rapa Nui Surf Bar, Costa Calma

If you’re heading down south to the town of Costa Calma (or nearby), we recommend checking out another chilled out lunch spot – Rapa Nui Surf Bar.

If you want something basic like a quick sandwich & a coffee – it’s the perfect place. Plus there’s really nice views over Costa Calma & the beach to enjoy whilst you’re eating!

I normally go for the tuna baguette & Andy loves the serrano ham one! There are plenty of different options to choose from on the menu. Nothing fancy but does the job to fill us up for driving around Fuerteventura!

4. La Sombra, Betancuria

If you happen to visit the popular town of Betancuria on your trip to Fuerteventura, be sure to stop off at La Sombra!

It’s a really quirky restaurant nestled amongst the trees & cactuses – almost like a little oasis right in the heart of the town. Another very cool spot to eat.

We’ve had the burgers here which were lovely – & coffees obviously! You could always just nip in for a coffee if you weren’t hungry. The are vegan options aswell!

5. Lumos Fuerteventura, Corralejo

If you’re staying in Corralejo, one place you CANNOT MISS is Lumos – the cutest Italian street food restaurant! We recently discovered this place & we cannot wait to go back. It’s probably our favourite lunch spot we’ve been to in Fuerteventura!

It’s a small place located right beside Single Fin, with mostly outdoor seating.

From the moment we sat down the staff were warm, friendly & welcoming. Which made us feel really relaxed. Then came our food which was UNBELIEVEABLE.

Basically you pick your italian bread base (or sandwich type) then your filling. I had the Puccia bread with the Andrea filling option which was smoked salmon, stracciatella, grilled zuchinni & lime. When I tell you I’ve never tasted anything as nice as this – I mean it!

So promise us you’ll go here!

6. Restaurante El Patio Argentino, Corralejo

Okay this is maybe the ‘fanciest’ place we’ve went to for dinner – El Patio Argentino! It was rated 4.9* on Google so thought we’d give it a try when we stayed in Corralejo recently.

Andrew had the T-Bone steak which was to die for (but could have been shared between two!) & I went super adventurous with a crispy chicken caesar salad which was surprisingly one of the best I’ve had. It was really filling! We had the spicy sausage to start which was full of flavour.

Tip: Be sure to book your table for dinner as it can be quite busy in even the winter months! It seems like another very popular spot.

We stumbled upon Waterfall the first time we visited Corralejo, & went back a few times as we loved the location! It’s a great people watching spot & the seats are super comfy!

Andrew thoroughly enjoyed tasting all the different local craft beers & I had a vodka & diet coke which was very refreshing!

8. Waikiki Beach Bar, Corralejo

If you are just looking for a quick stop off for a coffee with sea views, Waikiki Beach Bar is a popular place to go.

Although we can’t speak on the food here – we had a really nice coffee & it was nice to sit & watch everyone on the beach!

9. Kerry Bar, Corralejo

If you want a cozy, quirky place for a drink – try Kerry Bar!

The staff are really friendly & it’s a pretty chilled-out spot to stop off at for a refreshment on your way to the beach or shops. There’s even board games on every table which adds to the fun!

10. Restaurante El Ancla ,El Cotillo

We drove to El Cotillo for the sunset one evening, but instead of heading to the beach we decided to grab a drink at El Ancla instead!

It’s such a dreamy spot overlooking the sea. There was live music when we were there too which added to the atmosphere!

11. Barracuda, Corralejo

Finally on our list is Barracuda Cocktail Bar! We stopped in here for a quick coffee on a walk round Corralejo.

We both had Cappucinos & they were perfect!

Lovely place to sit with a nice view of the water & watch people passing by.

According to reviews they do fabulous cocktails as well – so definitely going to try one next time!
