H10 Ocean Dreams, Corralejo: Hotel Review (2025)

Sharing is caring!

In this post we will review H10 Ocean Dreams Hotel in Corralejo, Fuerteventura.

Resort area with palm trees, sun loungers, and white buildings under a clear sky.

In December 2024, we stayed at H10 Ocean Dreams for 3 nights, before we ventured down to Costa Calma to stay in H10 Playa Esmeralda.

The previous year we stayed at H10 Ocean Dunas in Corralejo, which we absolutely loved (can you tell we love H10?😆), but wanted to try somewhere different this time.

We wanted a chilled-out, Adult’s Only hotel in the centre of town & this one just looked *dreamy* – as depicted by it’s name!

Our friend had stayed here before too & gave it a rave review – so we were pretty much sold!

In this post we will share our honest review of H10 Ocean Dreams, including what we thought of the rooms, facilities & the hotel overall. If you have any questions just pop them in the comments below & we will do our best to answer!

Location

H10 Ocean Dreams is located in Corralejo, around 30 minutes from Fuerteventura Airport. (The easiest way to get there is by car – we always hire ours from Discover Cars & then pick it up at the airport when we arrive.)

If you want to be within walking distance of pretty much everything in Corralejo, this hotel is a fab choice. Just a 3 minute walk will take you onto the main street, where you’ll find plenty of shops, bars & restaurants to choose from!

There’s a Hiperdino Supermarket closeby – which we found this handy for getting bottles of water or evening snacks for our room!

The closest beach – Playa de los Verilitos – is an easy 10 minute walk away, whilst the ferry port is around a 20 min stroll.

Overall we would say the location is 10/10 – next to the hustle & bustle but also still in a quiet street.

Parking

When we arrived at the hotel, the first thing we needed to do was find a parking space! Something to note is that there is no private car park. You will need to find a space on the street.

We recommend having a look at the hotel on Google Maps beforehand, just so you can see what the area around the hotel is like & where you could potentially park.

Luckily for us when we arrived we got one very close to the front door. There seemed to be plenty of empty spaces about close to the hotel & across the way at H10 Ocean Suites. We never had any trouble parking nearby for the 3 days we were there!*

*Reminder however that we went in Winter, so may be slightly busier in summer!

Checking-In

Once we parked up, we headed to check-in! We were able to check-in right away as there was nobody else waiting. The staff member who greeted us was friendly, really helpful & explained everything we needed to know. She offered us a drink after our journey which was a lovely touch. Great first impressions we must say!

Something new for us was that instead of a room key, we got a wristband with a chip inside it! You then use this to enter your room & it’s scanned to pay for drinks/food at the bar. I actually loved this idea as I always end up putting the key card next to my phone deactivating it 😆!

Checking in to H10 Ocean Dreams didn’t take long at all – you really just have to sign a few forms & pay for your room (if you didn’t do so at time of booking.)

From reception to our room it only took a few minutes walk out the double doors & up one flight of stairs.

This hotel is quite a small-ish boutique style hotel, with only 94 rooms.

There are different room types available depending on your preference & budget, from standard double rooms to junior suites. Some will overlook the pool, some might overlook the street – but honestly we think they all looked lovely!

We treated ourselves to the Deluxe Terrace Room as we were only staying 3 nights – which we will now do a mini review on!

For reference: we paid £470 for 3 nights in December 2024 – this was with a promotional discount that was on at the time.

Our room was on the second floor, overlooking the bali bed area. We had put in a request for a higher floor room (rather than the ground floor) as we wanted more privacy, so we were super happy about this!

MAIN ROOM

Our first impression of the room was that it was extremely spacious, clean & bright. On entering there was a large built-in wardrobe space to our left, with plenty of storage, a safe & pool towels.

We had a king size bed which was very comfy, & plenty of pillows to choose from. At each beside table we had a plug-socket, light & reading light. There was plenty of space to move about each side of the bed & we managed to tuck our suitcase under the bench.

One thing I hate when I go to a hotel is when they don’t have a full-length mirror – so I was VERY happy this room had one!

There was a TV on the wall facing the bed – however most of the English channels are simply the news channels. We don’t watch the TV much whilst we’re away so we didn’t really mind. Although we did end up watching Bluey in Spanish a few times 🤣!

For all our fellow coffee lovers – on the desk you’ll find a cute Nespresso machine, with plenty of pods, milk & sugar. They even provide you with decaf pods. These are filled up everyday. If you aren’t a fan of coffee there’s also different teas provided & a kettle. We filled up our kettle with the water we bought from the supermarket.

All in all we really liked the main bedroom area – if we were to be critical of anything it would be that some of the furniture could possibly be freshened up a bit (like the desk) & we also think the artwork above the bed could be something a bit brighter!

BATHROOM

Now onto the bathroom which let us tell you was amazing! It had a spacious walk-in shower with a rain shower head & on the wall you’ll find complimentary shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. It had a huge double sink area, with a large mirror, hairdryer & plenty of space underneath to put your toiletries. We also loved the addition of having a bathrobe & slippers especially in the mornings.

BALCONY

Our favourite part of any room is always THE BALCONY! On our deluxe room balcony we had a large sunbed & then a smaller table/chairs to the right.

We overlooked the balinese bed area on the ground floor & then the rest of our view was just looking onto the hotel grounds & H10 Ocean Suites across the road.

It felt fairly private – there are some rooms over to the left that can look over to this one but we weren’t too bothered about that. We actually liked the location of this balcony as opposed to overlooking the pool which may have been a bit noisier! The palm trees towering above made it feel so tropical as well!

Food & Drink

As it’s not a huge resort, H10 Ocean Dreams only has one restaurant (used for breakfast & dinner) & one bar area.

You can choose to book Bed & Breakfast or Half Board. We opted for breakfast only as we wanted to venture our for dinner & try a few new places in Corralejo.

Restaurant Citrus

We were pleasantly surprised by breakfast. There was the normal sort of ‘buffet’ options – including breads, pastries, deli meats, yoghurts, cereals, cheeses etc. There was even smoked salmon which we really enjoyed!

If you want something more filling – they have a breakfast menu too. On it you’ll find different egg options, omelettes, toasties, sausages, bacon & more. There’s even sweet options such as crepes & waffles. We had omelettes mostly which we enjoyed.

Although we aren’t food connoisseurs, we thought the breakfast was pretty good, it set us up for the day & there was plenty to choose from – we especially loved the chocolate muffins & doughnuts!

Bar Tragaluz

The main bar area is just as you come through the hotel lobby. There’s plenty of seating indoors & on the outdoor terrace.

I got the Aperol Spritz cocktail one afternoon which was super refreshing! The Mojito was tasty as well. Andrew opted for a Moscow Mule which he very much enjoyed! You can get wine, spirits, beer, coffee & tea here amongst other drink options. If you’re feeling peckish there’s also a lunch menu with various snacks & light bites on it!

Facilities & Amenities

Swimming Pool

Okay we’ll admit, we aren’t ones for lying by the pool – so we didn’t get to use this gorgeous heated seawater swimming pool! But YES it did look very inviting. There’s even aqua massage beds IN the pool itself.

The pool wasn’t too busy in December as the hotel wasn’t full, but we’d say in summer months it would be buzzing!

Despacio Spa

The spa at this hotel offers various different facial & body treatments, as well as massages. In this area there’s also a dynamic seawater pool, chromotherapy shower as well as a turkish bath & sauna!

Indoor Gym

We used the gym two mornings after breakfast before we went out & about. It was fairly quiet & it’s actually really well-equipped for a hotel gym. Plenty of dumbbells, two benches, a barbell, cardio machines & even a cable machine!

Seating Areas

If you don’t want to sit on your balcony any longer, there are plenty of areas to take a seat, both inside the hotel & outdoors. Around the bar area there’s comfy sofas to take your cocktails & tables if you’re having a bit of lunch.

We sat on the outdoor terrace one afternoon with a drink & it was very relaxing!

Chill-Out Solarium

We think this outdoor area near the pool with Balinese Beds is a great addition! Perfect if you don’t want to sunbathe & prefer to be in a quieter area in the shade.

Would we stay at H10 Ocean Dreams again?

Yes, we absolutely would stay at H10 Ocean Dreams again & we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an Adult’s Only stay in the centre of Corralejo.

The staff were so friendly, the location was fantastic, we loved our room & the hotel itself was really beautiful.

Overall a very peaceful & chilled-out place to stay!
