11 Coolest Places To Eat & Drink In Palma de Mallorca (2025)
The beautiful city of Palma is not only one of our favourite places that we’ve travelled to, it’s also hands down one of the best places we’ve been to in terms of great food and drink!
We visited Mallorca’s capital for the first time earlier this year (in April 2025) , and we really couldn’t get over the fantastic selection of restaurants, bars and coffee spots there are right in the heart of Palma.
We personally enjoy eateries that are affordable, look pretty quirky, and have a chilled-out atmosphere (which is what you’ll find on our list below!), but honestly there’s literally somewhere for every budget and dining preference – you’ll be absolutely spoilt for choice.
In this post you’ll find all the places we went to in the centre of Palma to eat and drink – including super cosy coffee spots, cool brunch places and relaxed restaurants, plus a few bits of helpful information on each!

BEST COFFEE & BRUNCH SPOTS IN PALMA
1. Reverb Mallorca

Best For: bike & coffee lovers
RATED 4.9 ⭐ ON GOOGLE | LOCATION
We popped in here for a coffee on a walk one morning (and of course a slice of cheesecake), and we absolutely loved the friendly vibes & spacious interior of this gorgeous coffee spot.
It’s actually a bike shop/community space too – their catchphrase being – ‘drink a coffee, get a bike, feel the vibes’ – turns out it’s a really popular place with cyclists visiting Palma and exploring the rest of the island on their bikes.
We recommend Reverb if you’re looking for a quick coffee & sweet treat before exploring the streets of Palma!
2. Plumo

Best For: coffee & almond croissant lovers
RATED 4.9 ⭐ ON GOOGLE | LOCATION
We found this gorgeous corner café right next to our hotel and we must say it’s hands down our favourite place for coffee in the centre of Palma.
Very much like Reverb, it’s another space that combines a love of cycling and caffeine! It also seems to be a very popular spot for remote workers and digital nomads.

The one thing we loved about Plumo was that from the moment you walk in you’re met with a friendly hello and welcoming vibes. It’s a really relaxed kind of place and the friendly staff seem to know everyone that come through the door!
We must add as well – that if you’re an almond croissant fan – this is the place to go. They honestly were the best things I’ve ever tasted lol. We raced in every morning to get one as they sold out so quickly lol! They also do small savoury bites (like tostadas) to eat if you want something more filling before venturing through the city.
3. BrunchIT

Best For: a very instagrammable brunch
RATED 4.5 ⭐ ON GOOGLE | LOCATION
If you’re looking for a very instagrammable place to eat – then BrunchIT is gonna be your girl!
This very popular brunch restaurant is situated next to Plaza Mayor in Palma’s Old Town, so it’s really handy to get to.
You won’t have a hard time finding it either – as it has the most ‘Insta-worthy’ floral façade – apparently it’s one of the most photographed buildings in Mallorca!
We went here for lunch one day & although we had to queue for around 15 mins or so before we got seated – we must say it was well worth that wait. I think it’s always a good sign when there’s a queue!
It’s a great place if you want to have lots of options to choose from – the menu includes granola bowls, burgers, omelettes, eggs & sourdough options! Everything is locally sourced, tasted great and definitely kept us going for another few hours of shopping!
We recommend the: Ibérico Superstar, Original Avo, Dirty Burger + Benedict’s Green. If you can get a seat outdoors here it’s a great spot to people watch!
4. Surry Hills

Best For: Aussie inspired brunch
RATED 4.8 ⭐ ON GOOGLE | LOCATION
This gorgeous brunch and coffee spot is inspired by one of the coolest one of the coolest neighbourhoods in Australia – Surry Hills – and is one of the most top rated places for good food in Palma.
I had the smashed avocado on toast which was to die for (it honestly had like a whole avocado on it!) and Andrew had the breakfast platter which had a mix of fresh eggs, avocado & salad!
Do be prepared for a bit of a wait as like I said this is quite a popular spot – we waited about 15 minutes for a table to become available but it was well worth it!

5. Mistral Coffee House

Best For: fuelling up for more shopping
RATED 4.6 ⭐ ON GOOGLE | LOCATION
This little gem is located only 2 minutes from Passeig de Born and is the most perfect spot to take a break from an afternoon of shopping or exploring!
You can choose to sit inside or if you enjoy a bit of people watching there’s an outdoor seating area as well which has great views of Plaza de Weyler.
The coffee we had was beautiful & they have a small lunch menu with tasty sourdough + sandwich options, perfect for quick bite before you get going again.
We ordered the Sourdough with Halloumi, Sourdough with Creamy Burratta and the Serranno Ham Sandwich – we can highly recommend any of these!
6. LILI’S | Brunch & Cocktails

Best For: a beautiful view of the Plaza de Mercat whilst brunching
RATED 4.6 ⭐ ON GOOGLE | LOCATION
If we only had one day in Palma de Mallorca and had to go for brunch somewhere – we would probably choose Lili’s! It was our favourite place to eat on our trip.
The staff were lovely, they have seriously good food and the interior inside is beautiful. Another highly insta-grammable food spot!
We weren’t lucky enough to get a seat outside, but if you do it’s the absolute perfect place for watching the world go by as it has a great view of Plaza de Mercat Square.

If you’re wondering what we recommend here, this is what we ordered (note: my parents where with us too!): the Chick’n Chick, Holy Guacamole, New Yorker & the Scrabble!
The dishes on their menu are all made with fresh ingredients and they even have a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. My dad even had a tasty protein shake!
Lili’s is open for breakfast, brunch, lunch AND dinner! So you can give it a try at anytime of the day and try one of their great cocktails!

7. L’Informal Tacos

Best For: the best tacos in Palma of course!
RATED 4.8 ⭐ ON GOOGLE | LOCATION
Another one of our absolute favourite places we ate in Palma was L’Informal Tacos! We went here on our first evening & oh my goodness it did not disappoint!
This cosy Mexican spot is located in Plaça Nova de la Ferreria, and is best known for its flavourful dishes including tacos, burritos & casseroles.
Unfortunately I totally forgot to get photos of what we had to eat – I think I was just too hungry that evening & I couldn’t wait to get stuck in!
We ordered: The Ceviche & Quesadilla Pibil, Crispy Chicken, Cochinita Pibil, Lower California & Beef (Tacos)
If you plan on having dinner here I do recommend booking a table online a few days before as it’s another super popular spot!
8. Guarango Burger & Beer

Best For: yummy burgers with a relaxed atmosphere
RATED 4.8 ⭐ ON GOOGLE | LOCATION
If you fancy a lowkey night and just want something really more-ish – Guarango Burger is the place to go!
We liked it so much we actually went twice! It’s a very relaxed little burger joint, with a cozy interior & staff who are so friendly!

But honestly their burgers are so so good and they have a cool selection of craft beers to choose from too!
We had the cheese burger, classic american burger, crispy chicken burger and sweet potato fries with parmesan!
If you like craft beers – try the SOUP IPA, Pale Ale & regular IPA!
9. Gibson Bar

Best For: a cheap drink and resting your feet
RATED 4.5 ⭐ON GOOGLE | LOCATION
When you’re wandering about in the heat of Palma City, sometimes all you can think of is an ice cold beverage!
Gibson Bar is the perfect place to stop off at in the city centre for a refreshment whilst you’re wandering the pretty streets. It’s also located in Plaza de Mercat square – right across from Lili’s Brunch.
We sat in their outdoor seating area which was comfy & shaded for the most part. The best thing about here is that the drinks are SO affordable – in comparison with a few other places we’d been.
If you’re looking for a relaxed place to enjoy a drink that won’t cost the earth, check it out.
10. Santa Chiara Raimundo Pizza

Best For: a yummy pizza under the cozy neon lights
RATED 4.5⭐ ON GOOGLE | LOCATION
If you’re anything like us & have a love affair with pizza – then Santa Chiara’s Pizzeria is the place you need to go!
We ended up here one evening without booking beforehand – & we were really lucky to get a table as it was really busy – so we suggest to book a table in advance on their website.
The pizzas here are so incredibly tasty & fresh – we could see why it was popular! There are also a variety of pasta options on the menu as well.
The inside of the restaurant has some super cool neon signs – very much my vibe!
Our main course favourites on the menu were the San Paolo, Calzone, Santa Maria pizzas and the Tonnarelli Carobonara!
11. WTF Bar & Restaurant

Best For: a great spot for drinks after dinner with the locals
RATED 4.7⭐ ON GOOGLE | LOCATION
And finally on our list is a spot that you maybe wouldn’t think to go to unless you knew about it – WTF or ‘Wine Time Finally’!
This small & cozy bar is located on Plaza del Mercadal and is the perfect place to enjoy a drink before heading back to your hotel for the night.
We went a few times after we had our evening meal & it was always busy outside with people chatting and enjoying a drink together which made for a great atmosphere.
The food is also meant to be really good here although we didn’t get a chance to try anything, so let us know if you do!
